What is screen shot:-screen shot is snap of activity on computer with the method I’m going to explain you is very easy and you can have screen shot with a click of single button .There are many software which help in capturing screenshots but most of them are not free and picture obtained is not much clear .But you can use free software photoscape to capture screenshots of your desktop activity

Use of screenshots

*Capture desktop activity :-for example you have a website and your post is regarding how to change desktop background in your window 7 operating system then capturing screens of important steps you can make it easy for your readers to understand what you want to explain

*Save images from internet:-Sometimes there are images on internet which you can not save by right click on it but by capturing the screen you can save it with a one click.

*Create videos:-for example you want to upload a video on youtube about how to change desktop background of windows 7 or like that you can capture some screens and can easily create video using video editing software.

*capture pictures from video or any movie:-You have a movie of your tour but you want some pictures from it simple pause the video and capture the screen as picture.

Capturing full screen

Capturing full screen of your computer is common and easy way to perform.

*Double click photoscaape icon on desktop(after installation of photoscape software)

*Click on screen capture icon on home page of photoscape.a small window will pop up

* Click capture full screen button on this small window ,done.

Notes:------- 1.Minimize the photoscape home page to prevent capturing of it.

2.You can choose the option to save image as”copy to clipboard”(using this option after successful capture of screen you can paste the image on desktop or any other location of your computer by pressing ctrl+V or simply by right click and then paste) Or “open at editor tab”(using this option captured screen will open in photoscape you can later press here save button to save to any location of your computer)

3.You can switch sound option on or off on left lower corner of small window

Capturing window

This option allow you to capture contents inside window without showing boarders of window

Just click on window you want to capture after clicking “capture window”

Capturing specific region

You can capture specific region of your computer using this screen capturing method.

*Click on capture region

*Now single click at the point from where you want to select the region you want then move mouse to select the region

*Finally click once again to capture selected region of your screen
